Remote learning for Self-isolation or Lockdown
Welcome to our Remote Learning Page. Here you will find everything you need to support your child with remote learning.
On 1st October 2020 the Government published it's document "Remote Education Good Practice" which sets out the expectations for schools in the event of school closure, bubble closure or pupils self isolating. To read this document please click the link below.
At St George's we have created a blend of online learning and paper based activities to support pupils with their learning at home. We also encourage outdoor learning and activities to support the wellbeing and mental health of our children.
We use Microsoft Teams as our online learning platform where we post activities and lessons for the children to complete. Teachers will feedback to the children on the work set and monitor the children's progress.

Times Tables Rockstars
All children from Year 1 to Year 6 have a logon for TT Rockstars. This is a fantastic website that supports children in learning their times tables. To access TT Rockstars please click the link below and enter your log in details.
Numberbots
All children in Reception and KS1 have a logon for Numberbots. This is a fantastic website linked to TT Rockstars that supports children in learning addition and subtraction facts. To access Numberbots please click the link below and enter your log in details.
White Rose Maths
In school we use White Rose Maths and they are producing many home learning materials that run alongside the scheme we are following. There are also videos available for the children to watch at home.
Oak Academy
Oak National Academy has been set up to produce a full curriculum with linked videos that can be used at home. In the event of remote education being required teachers will provide you with links to the relevant Oak Academy lessons to use with your children that match to the curriculum being taught in school. Oxford Owl
The Oxford Owl website has lots of literacy and book based resources including access to lots of ebooks. This website is also usseful for accessing information regarding phonics. Resources can be found at: Oxford Owl
